Has anyone watched this three-part BBC zombie series? It was really good! An original spin on the zombie genre where a treatment is found and the zombies are rehabbed and considered to have Partially Deceased Syndrome. (Which sounds funny, but it's really quite a dramatic and tragic show.)

After hearing about a certain plot twist, I decided to go back and watch the last couple eps of The Vampire Diaries (thanks to cindergal's rec). Man, those two episodes were way more enjoyable than anything else I saw this season.

So, I was kind of underwhelmed by the season premiere last week. It felt really disjointed and kind of weird in places. It was obviously a lot of set up for this season, which I get. But as an episode it was a little meh. But this week? YES. AWESOME.

So, obviously the quality of The Office deteriorated over the years, but I hung in there to the end. I just watched the finale and cried.

It's amazing how young Jim and Pam look in the clips from earlier seasons! I love the way everyone ended up, and that some people were able to come back for the last episode. It was a good way to go out. Oh, show ( Read more... )

Just watched Ken Burns' new doc on PBS: Central Park Five. God, what a miscarriage of justice. Fascinating look back on how New York City has evolved as well.
